It is the same thing every year...
People have obsessed over KW, Early D., Joe McKnight, and RP before RR came along. It will continue into next year and every year after that.

It seems there are hyped recruits every single year.
Last year was the year for Julio Jones. The year before that it was Joe McKnight. The year before that was Tim Tebow and Andre Smith. Ad infinitum.
