How quick are people going to change their tunes if top talent starts signing with HBCs

Instead of traditional football powerhouses. This is a direction I didn’t expect this to al take but it’s plausible. I can definitely see the lore for a young HS player.
It will be hilarious to see people like Saban & Sark boohoo at all the fall out. The NCAA will nip this shite in the bud.
I for one welcome our HBC football over lords

If they want to ruin their careers that's on them

A few may, but Deion won’t hang around JState long if a big program comes calling; and it’ll end there.

It's just 1 guy. There may be one or two a year but I still don't see it. HBCUs can't all sign 25 man classes of studs. Plus the facilities there are dog shite. This is all Deion.

it would only be a phase if it happened. Coach Prime wouldn't be at a HBC long either if this started happening.

college football needs the elite players to be split instead of hoarded at a few schools like they are now, it’s a good thing even if it’s not HBCs
unfortunately, so far the top few schools have even more money to spend on NIL so they are going to be hoarding even more players as freshman and getting more free agent sophomores

Only happened because Deion is tied in with Barstool, Barstool tied in with Penn gaming, they supposedly have a NIL deal with this kid worth millions. This kid is not doing something grand, it is about money

Can’t be anymore career damaging then a top player opting out 2 years..

Wouldnt bother me at all. There are enough great players to fill all the HBC rosters and Power 5 rosters. If all of the elite 3 and done type players want to go to HBC's then that opens up more roster spots at Power 5 schools for players that want to come in and develop and actaully represent their university. Maybe if this becomes a trend, schools like LSU will get some of the good things about CFB back and let all the players making business decisions go to HBC's. It would benefit them and us. Power 5 talent would suffer but it may benefit the product in the long run.

I love it, parity is good for all and the revenue would help a lot of communities and universities that have been cut off or given 2nd hand funding. The people dogging the facilities and the programs are just miserable human beings, why else would they hate on schools they aren't in direct competition with.

If the top 4 players in the state go tk hbcu then savan gets 5-12.

It didn’t ruin Rice, Sweetness, McNair, or Strahan. I love the fact that these kids are trying to be positive influences on the black community. They are taking initiative by putting their community into their own hands instead of blaming white people for everything.

Going to JSU is best for Deion, not these recruits. JSU doesn’t have anywhere near the resources that FSU can offer for their development. When Primetime gets outed as a fraud of a coach when he finally decides to take a big boy job, this will end.

This seems like a byproduct of people being so used to their team upgrading their facilities every 10 years or so.

I'm amazed at the speed organized sports have leapt into bed with gambling interests, after decades of painting gambling as an existential threat to the integrity of sports.

Going to go where the money is…..small schools don’t get the exposure so the return on the investment ant very good. It’ll dry up

Have you seen their facilities? Quality of nutrition? Quality of coaches? Choosing to disadvantage yourself in these areas isn’t a very intelligent move.
