I think he's plenty fast, and like I said I have been impressed with his videos. I think he'll make an excellent slot guy, but I'd say he's a 4.48-4.52ish guy right now.

How fast do you think Tolliver is?
I would be astonished if Bell ran in the 4.5's. The games I've seen he blew past people like they were in mud.

Probably in the low 4.5s coming out of high shcool... maybe a mid 4.4 guy by the time he starts getting appreciable PT at LSU.

The average Louisiana high school DBs probably run in the 4.6s and 4.7s (ETA: some likely in the 4.8s).
40 times have been so exaggerated now. All you have to do is look at NFL Combine times at what some of the elite college players were putting up to know that not everyone that LSU recruits is running in the 4.4s.

Bell has had a bad hamstring all track season. The day I met him, he was being teased that Tolliver beat him. Tolliver is fast, but don't go on those times for Bell.

I just emailed a friend and he mentioned that RJ has major academic issues...Maybe that is the reason he does not have an offer....
