Because Clemson’s class is all time great. We could finish with all 5 star players the rest of the way and still most likely not overtake them.

No but if we were that close.. and just signed 3 studs at a position of need... 2 who had offers from every Sec school.... we weren't that far below were we??

Rivals has LSU at #2 now.

247 did what they had to do to make sure Bama remained ahead

Yep Bama will always be ahead because of the way they adjust recruit rankings

Even the ROY kid. Love him want him. A 3 star playing 5A at John Ehret is probably at last as good as a 4 star in AA at Uhigh

University is not 2A.

UHigh plays John Ehret week one.

UHigh also faces Neville and Catholic BR

Anyone recruiting consistently in the top 10 should be considered a serious contender to win a national championship on any given year.

If you can recruit at that level, everything else that happens is on coaching.

You do know whether a kid comes from 1a or 5a has no correlation as to how good a kid is right?

3 star players will barely give bumps in recruiting rankings. It’s not that hard to understand. Go play with the class calculator and that should clear it up

Lol Clemson might have the highest ranked class in history. It’s all good just finish strong and this will be our best class in history.

Player ranking wise you might be correct, but I don’t think they fill their class, so they might get jumped strictly based on numbers.....

They did, seriously, they did. Bama gained several points without even getting another commitment. LSU should have passed them on 247. On rivals (and I'm not big on rivals) LSU is closer to Clemson than bama is to LSU. There's several players committed to Clemson that would not be rated as high if they were not committed to Clemson. Clemson has not finished in the top 5 in the last 4 recruiting classes. But now that they have won 2 NC in the last 3 years these services are giving their recruits higher ratings. Opinions are being swayed with biased perceptions. That's one reason I only use these services as a reference. There's several Clemson players I watched video of and they are by far overrated. Same thing with a few of bamas commitments. That's why I tell people, don't just go by these recruiting services, go watch the videos and you can tell which players are really good and which are overrated. Apu was a straight up 5 star last season. Sopsher was not. Just an example.

We got commits from recruits that had numbers not conducive to raising LSU’s average.
Had we gotten commits from high 4 Stars we would have easily passed Bama.

If your overall average is 5 and you add 3’s, your overall average will go down.
That’s about as basic of as example as I can use, since you dont understand how this works.

If we add Roy we will pass Bama by 2 points. He’s a high 4*
