If he has a source that has given him info on Hootie that makes him think LSU even after all the smoke for bama the last few weeks, why would an interview change his stance?

Regarding LSU getting outworked, I believe they have been outworked in some cases, but I don't believe that automatically means they lose out. I just hope they realize they are being outworked in some cases and make IMMEDIATE efforts to rectify that situation.

The kid will make the decision that he feels most comfortable with. I would imagine the odds are 60/40 in LSU's favor. If he choses LSU I will acknowledge he did so for a variety of reasons - none of which being "he got paid". That's an insult to him and his family.
Why not give him the same courtesy and respect if he chooses Bama? If he does choose Bama it will be for a variety of reasons (comfort with staff, friends on team, championship opportunities, chance to be coached by Saban, etc). It won't be because he got paid. To imply or flat out state otherwise assumes there is no other reason a kid would go to Bama and it is an insult to him and his family.

If Bama is dirty in La then it wouldn't be hard to find out. And if anyone found out they'd make sure LSU knew. If lsu had proof that Bama was dirty in La then they would turn Bama in. You can bet on that.
So either: A) Bama isn't dirty, or B) Bama is dirty but LSU isnt clean enough to turn them in bc they know their dirt would make it to the light too. Which do you think it is?

Who would expect anyone not to take the money.
Hell even $abun took the money.
