I am just curious. For the sake of argument, say somehow Bama would give money to someone who could buy these kids a vehicle, like a parent or aunt. Would the NCAA have the power to dig into that or force them to show how they had the means to buy a vehicle. Would relatives or parents be forced to show financial statements?

They wouldn't be forced to but by declining it would be an admission of guilt in the eyes of the NCAA

Not only that, but what happens if a team would do this to a player that gets scorned later on like Luther Davis? I feel like it wouldn't be hard for the NCAA to track down what they need.
