The video HiddenFlask attached is well edited and I like the highlighting of the kid before and during plays, but too much info is written in the beginning without enough time to read it and too much time is spent showing him and his teammates celebrating and walking around after plays. For coaches, it needs to be play, play, play...boom, boom, boom. That video could be a minute + shorter, but still show the same plays. Of course with that talent, 5-10 plays may have been enough anyway....is that kid going to AR?

Remember too...he is young. If he will be a Sr. in 2010 season, then in 2011 he can be red shirt, in 2012 redshirt freshman, in 2013 redshirt sophmore. 3 and 1/2 years from now, in 2013, he could still have 3 years of eligibility left....imagine what he will have developed into by then. Maybe 1"-2" in height and 20-30 lb of muscle added. with good coaching and work ethic he could project to be a BEAST!
Yea he is young. Turned 17 in January. He's about 6'1 1/2 right now and about 218 pounds. He played this last football season at about 210 and during basketball season he got up to about 220 even with all the running. He's got the potential and good coaching. He just needs to get in the weight room over the summer and getter stronger and faster. He's a mid 4.6 right now in the 40. Needs to improve that for sure.

saw this article and thought about your brother
if he's a skill position player this might be good info:

"The best way, in my opinion, to get exposure, besides highlight film and grades, is the 7-on-7 tournaments," Wood said. "The players can be seen better by multiple reporters. ... at a 7-on-7 tournament Rivals.com will be there, Scout will be there, ESPN, Orlando Sentinel and other newspapers.

I am a college football coach and the highlight tape you made is perfectly fine. You would be surprised at the poor quality of film we get sent to us everyday. Every college program buys high school season football packages like Texas Sports Films or Louisiana Sports Enterprises for game tape. Your best bet is to email every college that has shown interest in him the youtube link. If the coach that recruits your brothers area likes it he can pass it on to the position coach then the head coach.
