Jamal wasn't part of the original 5. It was Hootie Jones that was replaced by Jamal. Hootie tried to get back in but was told to take a hike and LSU signed Jamal instead.

Sting let saved us from losing to Auburn, helped us beat Florida, and had 2 picks in the SEC championship. Yes he did make a difference.

I have a feeling that if he does end up going to Bama he probably won’t play a lot his first year and could potentially transfer to LSU as a more experienced player
