Well except for Barkevious Mingo, Jon Bostic, Jarvis Jones, and Jelani Jenkins. They're interested..........to varying degrees. I feel that we are getting Mingo and Jones, Jenkins is a longshot and Bostic is a longer shot.

Getting the "beast" LB has been our sore thumb in recruiting..Just can't seem to do it

The JM thing in the article, Well, are these articles always right on?

I guess JM was just here to enjoy himself? He was already down to OU and UT? I thought it was UT and LSU with OU coming in too late?

And I thought JM want to play next to another big time DT? I.E. Davenport?

That LSU polo he as sporting at the game had to have cost 65 dollars, non-refundable

Ease your mind about JM. I'm not saying he's coming here. I'm just saying that the tidbit on rivals there=wrong.

Amazing...no big time LBs that interested in coming to LSU.

Correct. Unless you count:

Jelani Jenkins 5 Star
Jarvis Jones 4 Star
Jon Bostic 4 Star
Frankie Telfort 4 Star
Barkevious Mingo 4 Star

..Or..

Kenny Hollis 5 Star JC Transfer
E.J. Kuale 4 Star JC Transfer
Cameron Vaughn 4 Star
Matt Stoltz 4 Star
Luke Sanders 4 Star
Derry Beckwith 4 Star
Derrick Odom 4 Star
Jacob Cutrera 4 Star
Kyle Prater 4 Star
Ryan Baker 4 Star
Shomari Clemons 4 Star
Kevin Minter 4 Star

The number of five star linebackers in each class and the number of them that LSU has been "in" on since the rankings started being published:

2009 4 (1)
2008 2 (2)
2007 2 (0)
2006 4 (0)
2005 3 (0)
2004 6 (0)
2003 3 (0)
2002 4 (0)

How many have been from Louisiana? None.
How many have been from California, yankeedom, or Florida? Most.
Which schools did most end up at? Southern Cal, Ohio State, Penn State, Florida State, Miami

Good analysis Hand. I especially like your designation of the north as "Yankeedom." I'm from Iowa for what its worth.

It's interesting that you just don't see too terrible many "top" LB prospects from LA. Funny how that works. Anyways, good, thorough work as usual.
