Jen, I might have a couple of LSU shirts for you and your son to wear. Let Lache know if you want them. My mom bought some for my kids friends but the shirts were to small. Turns out they were youth large not the adult large we requested.

Cool, he will love that. He is with Lache now, I will send him a text. Thank you..

We will have to meet one day...Lache told me yesterday how good you are to him and always answering his questions about LSU....sad to say but the only things I know about LSU are what Lache tells me, I will have to do more homework on it...unless you guys want to give me details. The only think I worry about is him being so far away--to Lache it is - ONLY a days drive..no big deal...:)

I wont comment really on the coach because I don't know him personally, even so I must say he seems like a great guy and great coach. However I will say that I love LSU. I'm from Louisiana but didn't grow up in a household of LSU fans. I wasn't quite sure where I wanted to go to college. However after picking LSU and being here for a year, I must say I love it so far. I think Lache would be happy here if he were to choose LSU.

to be honest, when he got here, i wasn't a big fan of coach miles. when put on the spot in on on-field interview, etc, he wasn't too eloquent of a speaker. He didn't seem to be much of the hard-nosed, intellectual type strategist i'd hoped for. Now, however, after seeing video of him coaching during practice, half-time speeches, etc, I've decided perhaps he just has a little difficulty in front of a camera, because the man can flat out coach, and it's obviously hard to argue with the results.

more importantly, miles has intangibles that are much harder to find in a coach. He's a family man, of tremendous integrity, who puts his team first in every circumstance. look for comments by parents that have visited with him. the man is as genuine as it gets.

Jen just wear the shirt around the house until you are ready to go out in the public. It might take some time to get used to those colors. I know how you feel. That is what I am going to do when my daughter tells me which college she is going to. My high school colors were purple & gold so I have been wearing those two colors all my life.

Hey Born,
I do not have tickets yet. It is just me and a friend who used to coach up here in North Texas.
We made plans to take off from work and come down as soon as we saw the game on the schedule. We went to some of Rex's games last year and were real impressed with him. I've watched a lot of Lache's videos and can't wait to see him live. I emailed a lady in the Temple ISD named Claudia Hernadez asking about when individual game tickets go on sale but have not heard back from her.
