Hootie leaving the SEC? Ok? And cold weather and so far from home?? I don't think so...... jmho. See bama sells that BR is about the same distance as ttown from Monroe. A big negative for him is life after FB too, come to LSU and star and you will be loved, job real easy to find when you are loyal to the home team, not so much if you go to bama.

It just makes since to come to LSU being how we have everything and more than any big time program does. Going to bama just looks bad then. And some folks frown upon that now it wouldn't be impossible to find a good job or settle in LA after but would be a hell of a lot easier. Just makes more since. For Crob too but to each his own bro. I figure our Oline will get much better next two years with the offense and will appeal to lots of Offensive guys across the board. Defense speaks for itself, we just had too many stars leave early, will get much better next year.

Hootie Jones migh have realized LB is he best chance at the NFL and that spot is wide open at LSU.
On the other hand, Jones might want to be an early entry, but Bama did not have an EE slot available.
