talking trash about a player before he even sees the practice field is pretty classless, but you totally redeemed yourself with your "geaux tigers" emoticon.

It's the recruiting board's version of "no disrespect, but."

And then there's namvet's version " "

Great size, very good arm, accurate, intelligent, early enrollee, all LSU - but I guess some people just have to complain about something! He will be a really good QB before he leaves LSU. He, Jennings and Rivers will battle it out for the starting spot in 2014. I've got to think Rivers will get the nod at the start of the 2014 season. We'll see from there. And by the way, he'll see the field as a RS sophomore, same with Jennings.

He is a great kid no doubt, but after watching his alleged Highlight, I am afraid that he probably won't be able to see the field until Senior year, that is, if he decides to red-shirt. I know all these high school kids have a lot to grow before starting at SEC, but as of now, I believe Jennings is a much more complete package compared to Rettig.

I have seen very little of Jennings but I have no clue as to what you think you have not seen in HR but the fundamentals Rettig shows are very good. He has good footwork, he is very mobile unlike our current QB, he has awareness of his receivers and where they are in coverage, and most of all he has a very strong arm that can rifle a throw from the opposite hash to the sideline or 60 yds in the air downfield. Not sure what you were so disappointed in. You gotta realize he was a HS player on a mediocre team.
