McKnight wants to be the next Reggie Bush. Randle has no such delusions!

This is a guy that I think Alabama has a legitimate shot at.

You're crazy,Scoop. I imagine Randle wants to play on a team that has a QB who can get him the ball, and other WR's who can take pressure off of him, and RB's who can make it happen on the ground, as well as winning conference and possible BCS titles.

AJ McCarron and Star Jackson
Julio Jones
Trent Richardson

What's the problem?

I hope we get him, not only does he seem like a great athlete, but his grades are good, and looks like a great young man. Hopefully he makes the best choice for his future.

There is no problem. He will just be able to get the ball more at L.S.U., and play for a competent coordinator.

He would have a better experience at LSU.

Randle's a winner and a family guy.. Where he can win, have family environment, and skyrocket his skills through the roof is where he will go. Honestly, I think he stays home in his home state for family. Mark out Bama-B.c there not going to win and the coach has no integrity, Miami is nice, but to far away in the long run, and the same situation with Florida and USC. And Ole miss, well enough said you gata win first to get this recruit.

Remember this summer when he was going to make an unofficial somewhere, but decided to stay home and help family/relatives move or something similar to this?
He is our Julio Jones, but better!

I never understand why a 5 star recruit would even consider leaving the State of Louisiana to play football somewhere else today. LSU is a national power with excellent coaches, facilities and top TV exposure. If a recruit plays at LSU he is forever in the hearts of LSU fans all over the State of Louisiana. Doesn't that mean future $$$ down the road? If Joe McKnight has an above average year at SC and is an average player in the NFL, can he then count on fans in his home state to invest in his Brand as a player to pitch products, etc? There are no guarantees in football. It just seems a player would want to make the most out of his career choice for future investment as well. It seems to me McKnight rolled the dice he will be a superstar like Reggie Bush. That is not a guarantee even for Reggie Bush.

Longer he waits, the more I get nervous. If he commits early, I like LSU's chances.

I have a bad feeling that you are worrying about something that is out of all of our control...

Up until now, there is no reason to believe that LSU is not his #1. And, after attending summer camp last year and this year, the odds are with us.

If he makes a game or games in Tiger Stadium this fall (did he make any last year?), the chances are excellent...

We would be foolish to guarantee anything or take him for granted...R. Shepard said that of his cousin Loston...its a sure way to turn a recruit off...taking them for granted, but that said Randale is highly interested in LSU to say the least. # of visits to LSU demonstrates that. And, highly interested is as good as it gets until a recruit verbals.

I think he'll end up at LSU but I'd agree Miami (and USC) are more of a player for him then Bama.
