I think Blacknall is a good player. But here is my thing, if Quinn, Speedy, and Dupre all have him concerned cause of their ability is that the type of player that we really want at LSU??
I mean if he dosen't want to come here then so be it. I know most of this board don't want to hear this name but recruit Cameron Sims, or someone like Markell Pack from Mississippi, or get Quille back in the mix.

Don't worry they just flaming on the noob. They don't care if blacknall in this class or not. He wasn't even one of the top performer's from camp.

Think its normal for a young man making a decision that will impact his life and football career, to look at things from all angles, and be a little apprehensive. He doesn't want to make the wrong decision. At the end of the day, none of these guys are a finished product, especially him. Guy seems to have a good head on his shoulders, and can be coached into an excellent player by Adam Henry. Point is he has outstanding physical tools, and is a good receiver, with potential to be a great receiver.

I also think that Saban and Napier got into his head about the numbers of WR's that we are recruiting. So that has him thinking as well.
IDK I just have a feeling that even if he commits to LSU that he will be a recruit that will keep his options open.

2. We are not GOING to recruit Cameron Sims.
3. Cameron Sims will not go onto our board without a mass exodus of every other LA receiver.
4. Even if there was a mass exodus of every other LA receiver and we started to recruit Cameron Sims, he would not come here.
5. Please stop talking about Cameron Sims.
6. Cameron Sims isn't happening.
Second-tier LA players do not deserve an offer merely by virtue of their state of residence. It's great to keep the in-state talent, but when you have 10 players on the board who are better than an LA guy and 7 of them want to play for us, there is no reason to get down to that #10 spot.
Sorry if this was mean, but I'm sick to death of the Sims talk.

He's not top Louisiana talent, but he has the frame to develop. He's a little behind the others, but that's due to competition levels in Jersey. You are going to have a hard time when you come on any message board and talk about a prospect and get his name wrong for 2 consecutive posts (Blackman,Blacknail). No one will take you serious, and they rightfully didn't...

He a little behind more then just the others. By rivals account he wasn't a top 10 reciever at LSU camp. I think clark and upchurch are better prospects but it's just my opinion.

Blacknall = KBoone, IMO
Not great, not bad.

Kind of agree, Prom, he's been real high on the coaches board, but I think that may have dropped a little. I think they still want him, but as a guy they see that has height and can develop, and might be a #2,#3 guy in next years class, so you take him now(poss redshirt). Theses top guys will be gone in 3 years, giving him free reign if he comes along...Anyway, not worried about recievers in this class..

I disagree with the guys on here who are down on Blacknall. Blacknall is 6'3 210 and runs a 4.4 40. He has elite talent and a high ceiling. He could use some work on technique, but that's what freshman seasons are for. Maybe Noil and Dupre are ahead of him, but he's definitely got the body and the talent to make that distance up.
My only worry is the idea that's been floating around that he was intimidated by the competition. A lot of people are saying that isn't true (and I kind of think it isn't true also), but if it's really what he's thinking then he shouldn't worry if he puts in the hours of practice. He's got everything he needs to succeed.

This guy is not an LSU fan. He is trolling hoping that Blacknall reads this crap. He should be banned immediately. But he will just change his user name and get right back in. At least red x or delete his posts.

My guess would be Quinn, but pretty much any of the WR targets on our board would be a boom.
Posted on 7/21/13 at 11:27 am to LSU Patrick
Trey Quinn just tweeted will clapp is his lead recruiter for this process. I think he's a silent commit.

Hope Will helps him make the right decision....
