Not a hijack at all...it relates to Ferguson. I don't think LSU is pursuing Ferguson to the level LSU is pursuing Johnson (the new reference).
Therefore, I don't think we are going hard after Ferguson and I don't think he will be part of this class.

You dont even know the kid. Don't judge a book by the cover my man. While I do agree with you about how tattoos can be looked down upon, that is very shallow of you to just say "oh he has tattoos, I dont want him to lead my team"

Long story short...I like Ferguson, as do a lot of other people here as well as a lot of other programs. He is good. But I do not think he will be a part of this class...partly because the coaches like someone else more.

I like Ferguson's tools. His tools are comparable to most of the top 10 qbs in the class. He quite honestly has better tools than Mitch does. The tattoo issue is bogus. Has nothing to do with his judgement nor his makeup as a person.
Not sure how hard we're recruiting him but we're in his top 3 so we must be recruiting him some. Also Clemson isn't in his top 3(at least weren't last week) and to my knowledge Clemson isn't planning to take a qb this year. They got Kelly last year and already have a 2014 kid. Ferguson was/is Bama's to lose but now that Bateman is in for them he may have to pursue other options. UNC is the team to watch with Ferguson. Who knows for sure how it breaks down. Each qb commitment changes the dynamic for kids.

That doesn't mean those judgements are valid.
Just because you don't like Tattoos (I hate them, especially on women) doesn't mean its a "bad decsion" let alone an indicator that someone will make bad decisions as a QB.

Ask what 3 schools he was considering the most in a 247 article(or one of the team sites on there) last week and named Bama,LSU and USCe(I'm pretty sure;I'll have to check to be positive). I would consider that as much a top 3 as anything a kid says these days since it changes so much.
