I know Mett is off target at times, but so many people hate on him, not including this board, and I don't think it's right.
The OL is the SOLE purpose that passing game isn't firing on all cylinders. Whenever you have to keep 2 RB's in to block because your OL can't hold on to pass protection for more than a second, something is completely wrong.
So instead of 4 WR's on the field, you end up with 2 blocking RB's and 2 WR's running routes. Of course that's easy to defend.
It's the Williford and Hurst got complacent or just didn't want to be there and losing Faulk was just terrible. Turner and Alexander are going to be brick walls in the next few years.
Gotta crawl before you walk, I guess.

Not only that, but when they destroyed teams earlier this year, Verne Lundquist says something like this:
"I cannot tell you who is playing right now because they have gone beyond their 4 deep roster on defense. I dunno who some of these frosh are."

We have got to lock down Frank for the long haul somehow. With all the coaching changes going down this off season it's a fact he will be offered an OC position somewhere. I'm not one of those people who bitches all day about firing Stud, but if there's a shake-up I want Frank at OC with a big fat raise.

At this point who cares about Bama's roster and LC recruitment? What does this have to do with the LSU Recruiting Board? LC made a mistake in my opinion not coming here. Who cares why? We have the players we have. Willis is a terrific player. His film is ridiculous especially after seeing Tevin Lawson play. Willis needs playing time and we need a big Defensive lineman not another defensive lineman turned offensive lineman. I see Willis and he is a stud defensive lineman all the way.

This kid is really a quiet kid and I don't think he is "playing" with anybody. I think actually that he might surprise some people with his decision, just a hunch not based on fact. I also think that we actually have a great shot with this kid but I don't think people will dislike this young man when the process ends.

bama has played 3 safeties rather than 3 corners all year in the nickel, I wouldn't expect that to change next year. LC will have the opportunity to make a huge impact next year, and he already plays as much as any freshman on D besides denzel duval who gets in the game in the 1st half a lot. LC is on every special teams unit and the backup D unit right now. He blocked a punt in the mizzou game. If he came to alabama expecting to start then he is a dumbass, but that's not the case
