It's absolutely true. It might not be the only reason but it's part of it. It's less him "not wanting guys who want NIL" and more like who doesn't want to deal with what he perceives as divas chasing NIL money. Paying is not the issue to him it's how you present yourself. All the players under BK are getting paid. He doesn't want money to come between a locker room otherwise you end up with guys like Denver Harris.

I don't necessarily think this is true but I do believe his commitment to us is based much more on environment, coaches, and recent QB success than it is on NIL amount. To me that is really the type of player you want. Someone who is smart and mature enough to understand the long game and the fact that NIL money isn't going to be shite compared to that 2nd NFL contract if you put yourself in a situation to be able to work and grow into the man instead of just taking the most money and thinking that makes you the man.
