yep. Is there any doubt he would have committed on the spot if the offer was committable? For his sake I hope it is but it's really easy to see what's happening.

I believe so. This is the "dream" offer for any Alabama kid either Bama or Auburn. Bama isn't going to take 3 quarterbacks. They're just not, if you believe that, then I got some bridges for sale.

I think it’s pretty classless to demean an offer from the Number 1 team in the Country which is his second SEC offer in less than a week. No one is trashing LSU for not offering him, so I’m not entirely sure why the need to trash Quad or make assumptions that literally none of you know anything about.
Coach Saban was very transparent and clear about the QB situation both current and future at Alabama. Quad lit it up today. Period. And he earned his offer.

That’s great good for Quad. This has been a great story to watch, but this is an LSU recruiting board. Are we really going to dickride saban for offering Quad while trashing our staff on a fricking LSU recruiting board?

I'm more upset that LSU hasn't offered Lance LeGrende from our home state that is currently committed to a D1 school, and has multiple SEC offers, and the likes of Florida St.
I'm sorry, that I'm not sorry that I don't think your kid is that good.

I don’t think anyone is trashing Quad coach, just curious if it’s commitable. We’ve seen this before from Saban, Hell Brandon Harris got a Bama offer that ultimately wasn’t commitable and his HS head coach kept Bama out of Parkway after that, which ultimately got him fired.......

Bama has 3 scholarship QBs on the roster.
Coach Saban said they expect 1 to transfer.
They have 2 current commitments for 2019. They expect that 1 might flip.
That opens not 1 but 2 slots.
So instead of them waiting and being reactionary they are being proactive in their approach which is a championship mentality.
This the Quad offer.
All that said, it’s likely that Quad will be commiting somewhere else soon. Vanderbilt. Not a firm decision yet. But likely. So today he will simply enjoy his offer from the number 1 team in the country.

On the Quad thread on the LSU 247 site, Billy Embody just said again about an hour ago, that LSU was in the right by not offering Quad. That is was clear as day.

Good for him and congrats on the Bama offer. That is a huge deal for anyone who gets it.
Don't mind some of the simple minded individuals here. Saban and Bama have a lot of people on edge, and it makes them very fragile.
