Pickens looks like a long, tall receiver at 6'5". He's listed as a 4* on 247, but says he's a hard commit to Auburn since July. Is he going to any camps here at LSU? We haven't offered, so not sure if you've spoken with our coaches about him and if there is any interest? I'd love that trifecta...

Coach isn't out parlaying a new car, briefcase full of cash, etc. out of this deal. He got a fricking job with a startup recruiting service writing scouting reports for other recruits after they approched him with the opportunity.! OMG!! He's making so much money off the backs of these kids!! Just shut Rivals and 247 down then. Like none of their writers would ever try to help a family friend's son. Please...

But yes, you are out of line when you don't what the hell you're shooting your mouth off about calling people "handlers". Because a handler is just a slightly nicer way of calling Coach a pimp.

You also said Quad should find a new mentor. And when people talk down about the kid's offer list to imply he isn't any good. Coach should defend Quad even to the detriment of LSU. I love LSU. I went there and graduated from there. But people in my life come first. And the fact Coach made the jab about LSU losing to Troy was to defend him. That tells me right there he's a good mentor and won't let some losers laugh at his offer list.

You also said Coach had NO contacts. He had NO contacts at LSU, which is to be expected when you live in fricking Birmingham for 10 years. so don't act like you didn't come out of the gate and you were some angel. You've been slinging shade and you know it.

I'd he not handling quads recruitment? His scouting? Some of his costs?say what you want, you dont know a damn thing more than any of the others. Get over yourself.

Because of his employment with a service, Coach is now in a grey area....not because he doesn't care and want the best for quad, but because of today's caustic environment around recruiting, handlers, bag men, ect, that do things the wrong way.

I'm sorry for worrying about LSU first. If Quad blows up, I want him at LSU. What I dont want is us having to explain to the NCAA why Quad had expenses paid by an employee of a service in the recruiting arena. And I'm positive that coach understands my concerns.

And yes, my posts have evolved over the course of this thread, as my unknowns have been explained by coach and others. You see, that's what open and free conversations result in. So stop trying to control the board or other posters, dipshit. Coach loves LSU and my posts won't improve or dissolve his love...I'm not that important.

Coach did great things for quad as a family friend and an all out good guy. And it was before his employment, as explained.
But now hes employed and accepting money from the service. It changes things, and I started such.
