It is what it is. Like I've said, I like Quad and I'm enjoying this story. But if Coach is leaving because a few people didn't agree with how much of a quality QB Quad is than so be it.
My point will always be the same, and I'm just some guy that's never coached a day of football in my life so I don't expect anyone to respect my opinion regardless, I've liked what I've seen of Quad but was never exceptionally "wow'd" by it like when you watch Gunnell or even a guy like Bo Nix. When I researched his team and his competition I thought even less of what I saw.
Again just my opinion, but if Quad was comparable to the names that Coach has thrown around in this thread and if he had better arm talent than Myles, LSU would have been all over him and he would have had an offer months ago. He would be at Junior Day right now. I don't think this is a point that anyone could argue.
With all that said, he's not even a Senior yet and he will get better. I don't agree (clearly) with the Winston and Jamarcus talk but if those points are even somewhat true (not saying Coach is lying because I don't think he is, just saying I don't think Quad has the arm talent that those guys had at the time, again just my opinion) then the next several months should be very entertaining for Quad. I sincerely hope Coach wouldn't go quiet regarding that because some nobodies on the internet didn't agree with him.

Ok. If you are wowed when you watch gunnel and not when you watch quad then you and I will never be on the same page. Lol. Sorry. Gunnel is good, don’t get me wrong, but he ain’t got “IT”. Gunnel is a “made” quarterback. Every step and throw is thought about. No instinct.
I tell you what, I’ll bet you by the time their senior years are over that Quad is rated higher than Gunnell.
With all that said I’d love to see them both at LSU.

Don't put that blame on my shoulders. If anyone, regardless of their profession, leaves a forum because some random guy on the Internet disagrees with him then that is 100% on the guy leaving. It's incredibly silly to be honest.

I'll say this, then maybe we can make a thread where we can discuss the kid without the back and forth disagreements if y'all want this to be a purely positive thread.
I think the kid could be a good college QB, but I don't think he could be that at LSU. I think at a CUSA school, or a AAC school, he could excel. I don't want anyone to think I'm shitting on the kid, because I'm not. Just HEAVILY disagree where with the talk has gone with names like Jameis Winston and Jamarcus Russell being thrown around.

I’m surprised Coach hung around as much as he did. They are obviously getting a lot of interest and he is being respectful of this process. That and the last thing he wants to do is argue about Quads talent on here. That was never his intention of his OP.

He got tired of hearing constant bs in a thread that requires zero responses like that. People have pointed out quad’s flaws and he has reacted perfectly every time. It’s the post that attack and belittle him that I’m sure piss him off! It’s not fun to post on here when most of your replies are terrible troll attempts or someone out of nowhere starts something. I wish you’d stay coach.. I always have someone start something in my post yet I tend to know a few things and people... There are a few really good guys on here who genuinely just want some insight because they love LSU football! And everyone here knows and sees how great he has transitioned and how high his ceiling is. Ignore the dumb asses on here and keep doing your thing
