I know Larry Porter tried to get him to Memphis. Not sure of the details, but I believe they felt that he would not qualify for this year.

Well, he's fully qualified and eligible to play this fall, so apparently his grades weren't THAT bad.

Its hard to say, if he wouldn't have came, then Rueben would have been our QB for 4 yrs. plus the Defense had stars all over the field! I think we would have won at least one but its hard to say if we would have won more than that.
