They can't offer until he starts junior year due to NCAA regulations. He is not a hold back and a true sophmore.

That's sounds like total BS. We offered Dinkelmann as a 6th or 7th grader??? Offered Moses as an 8th grader???

Nevada supposedly offered a 3rd grader...

Solid kicker. Continues to develop good leg speed through the ball. Has always been beyond his age in mechanics and technique. Needs to work consistency. Has one of the best "A" balls out there, just need to see it every time. Also needs to go ahead and drop the 1" tee. Will take some slight transition to learn to naturally roll foot forward to account for the sweet spot dropping an inch lower. I may be wrong, but I don't think he runs a lot of the national camp circuits. I think he Trains with Nelson.... former La. Tech kicker.

Prolly needs to start hitting a few camps the next couple years to show coaches how he stacks up against other available recruits.

Will definitely get some offers, but size is an issue..... even for kickers....doubt he gets a Power 5 D-1 offer, but I definitely believe he will be playing Saturday somewhere

He is already kicking 45-50 off ground. If you read NCAA regulations they cannot offer until jr year. I don't know how some of these people get offers when it's against rules.

I'm not worried about other kids. Only mine and we will do it the right way.

This is good to hear. I assume you are Gavin's dad or his coach. If so, you guys keep up the good work. Very talented specialist and, as I said above, I am confident he will be playing on Saturdays in the future.

Or good friend, or classmate, or teammate.
Either way, I hope the best for Gavin. Please keep us updated on his recruitment, regardless of where it takes him! I've really appreciated the specialists we've had over they years and the board takes their recruitment pretty seriously as well.
