Here is another breakdown with each players (national rank from 247, star) assuming only Chaisson departs early.

NT
Shelvin (54,4*)
Ika (138,4*)
Guillory (154,4*)
Jenkins (519,3*)

DE
Logan (156,4*)
Farrell (375, 3*)
Burch (2,5*) - not committed yet
Roy (42,4*)
Taylor (278,4*)
Fonua (44,3*) Juco
Gaye (27,3*) Juco
Evans (666,3*)

WDE/ROLB
Cherry (198,4*)
Anthony (203,4*)
Thorton (204,4*)
Brooks (32,5*)
Webb (38,4*) - not committed yet
Clowney (123,4*)
Ojulari (139,4*)
Moore (5, 4*) Juco
Little (874,3*)

M Jackson (114,4*) could also be added to the NT group this year only making them stronger. Looking at this, I think they decided on Gaye to fill a depth need at the DE position since he is older and physically more mature than a true freshman. I really hope we get to see Roy and Burch playing together on the same DL.

Nelson Jenkins at 285 pounds is not a nose tackle. He is a defensive end in Dave Aranda's system.

You didn't mention TK McClendon who was moved to the defensive line and according to Ed O the other day, he is now 270 pounds with sub 4.8 speed in the 40.

Also, Jarrell Cherry was moved to the defensive end position in the fall when he grew to over 260 pounds. As he is probably even faster than TK McClendon.

Marcel Brooks is mainly used as a pass rusher currently this season, but I believe he will be more of a safety/hybrid linebacker after next season.

You also left out Soni Fonia currently listed as an outside linebacker. As he came in at 6'3" and 274 pounds.
After this redshirt year, I bet he is moved to the defensive end position next season as well. He should have a lot of quickness and speed and be about 285 to 290 pounds.

That's a major league haul. And they're not done.

I was personally worried for the opposite reason. I thought the class was too heavy in the direction of DL.
