Its a simple concept. We need a kicker really bad, we dont need a RB.
Why offer a RB if hes only gonna sign then most likely transfer or stand on the sideline for 2 years because of depth. While at the same time a punter is a serious position of need and one of the best in the country (Helton) is willing to sign and would play immediatley.
Would you have given up Patrick Fisher last season so a "big time" RB could sit on the bench while jasper and dalfrey shank 20 yard punts from our own endzone? I wouldnt.

If woulda shoulda coulda. Bama had their chance and what happened. They are lucky they caught FSU last year and not this year.

Listen guy I find LSU fans to be the most entertaining among college football. I had no idea until Fisher swooped on FSU.
I stumbled on this site by accident and found it to be irreplaceable.
I am sometimes cautioned by chicken as well as I should be for being to exuberant at times because smack is my game.
It is all in fun as it should be and well my Noles will soon retake the pinnacle of college football. It was a good run by LSU and I salute them but there is much more to becoming a dyanasty.

I forgot to add when I was at Woody's Comedy House in the Florida Keys I did do a standup comedy routne for a few minutes and the house told me it was great but everybody there was not sophisticated enough to understand it.

Yeah because losing Jimbo has been real bad for LSU [/sarcasm]. JF will be the worst thing to happen to FSU football for a long time, even worse then the slow slide into mediocrity we have been experiencing for a while now. Jimbo is not the answer. I'd love to have him as a recruiting coordinator and give Crowton to FSU as an OC.

We are VERY glad to dump Fisher on you. We will suffer with Crowton.

Just out of curiosity did Fisher spread his lineman out at LSU? He is doing it now at FSU they are spread out to around 2 feet gaps or more. That does not sound like the coach you guys are always talking about with the bubble screen.
They are using the formations Trickett used at WVU and talking about Richardson running a spread option read for a change of pace.
LSU always has great lineman with size. Did he pack them together and just power straight ahead?
