Roy, Guillory, Johnson, Dumervil, Crawford, Van Pran, a TE, and Alford. I see Gaye and at least two others being pushed out but I’m sure we could lose a commit or two before signing day as well.

If it comes down to a RB other than Milton or Evans and a top 250 OL or DL, we won't take a RB in this class. We got two top 100 guys last class. We're good at running back for at least 2 years. Sign two good ones for 2021, and we're good for 3-4.

Taking a look at the final breakdown of the class by position I see this:
2 QB: M Johnson, TJ Finley
1 RB: Z Evans or K Milton would be obvious takes, but it doesn't really seem either is coming. A Johnson is an excellent option and seems to want in (and he would help with another recruit)
3 WR: R Jarrett, K Boutte, J Burton seems like a lot, but all takes if they want in.
3 OT: M Dumervil is close to committing. I count C Jackson as an OT. The third will come from flipping T Crawford or taking B Ward.
1 OG: M Martinez
1 C: S Van Pran is hard to read, but he's a LA kid at a clear need position. Bringing in RB Johnson would have to help.
6 DT: J Roy and J Guillory are near must gets and LSU should get them. E Taylor and J Lee are studs too. People may fret over 3*s P Jenkins and J Berry, but they are both very good - one super quick, one super strong.
3 DE (OLB): D Clowney, A Bryant, A Gaye
2 ILB: A Sampah, J White
2 CB: E Ricks, L Johnson
3 S: M Burns and J Toles are in. I think X Alford joins them.
The "problem" is that this is 27 players and we can only take 25. A LOT can happen between now and December. Maybe 1 of the 2 QBs decommits. Maybe we don't take a RB. Maybe a WR decommits. Maybe a DT or a DE. Impossible to say.
So, I'll got with these 27 and let the players/coaches decide which 2 drop out.

I wouldn't get hung up on that number, 25, I don't think it means diddly squat to O and staff right now. Take all the commits you can get and sort them out on NSD. They can have all the commits in the world, they can only sign 25.

LSU will sign a RB. The Lee kid out of Florida in the mix as well.

My preference as well, but if you land 2 OT's Cam Jackson is likely out, and if you land 2 DT than Berry likely out.
That puts you at 24 and means you can add 1 more guy if the rest hold. I think that will likely be a free safety.
I think LSU would like an elite TE if one wants to jump aboard as well, but you have to lose 1 more to make that work.
Coaches don't seem satisfied at Lber either after losing Kennedy.
I'm sure this class will lose someone we really don't want to lose at some point as well.

Why the hell would you say we need a rb in this class? Have you kept up with recruiting other than this year? We will sign another next year's class, but it's not a priority in this year's class unless it's an absolute stud that we can't pass up. Come on man.
