The thing bout Trindon is you cant see him half the time untill he gets near you because of his size

Demps at UF can absolutely fly. I think FSU was going to offer him a track scholarship but did not have one. He wanted to play football at FSU but Fisher would not offer and considered him more of a track guy than a football player.
I think Holiday is the fastest of the real football players and not just the tracksters.
Rainey is fast but he weighs about 159 pounds and will probably get hurt just like he did last year.
Spiller is the back at Clemson with all the speed I think around 4.12 forty.
The closest FSU has is probably this one at supposedly a 4.24 forty.

Seriously, don't even post under 4.2 forties. They are hand timed. NO ONE has ever gone under it, in an electronic timing system.

Some say he is the fastest college football player ever. (Jim Rome is Burning)
Who here can think of anyone faster that has played in college.
James Trapp, formerly of Clemson and the Oakland Raiders and Super Bowl Ravens, was an NCAA Track Champion, both World Indoor and Outdoor Champion, and a member of the 1992 US Olympic team.
He may not have been a great pro, but he did manage to stay in the league for over ten years...combine his track resume with his pro resume, and he's one of the fastest that every played in either college or the pros.

Some posters have it right -- forget the 40 times, they're B.S. Even the NFL combine is hand timed. Again, inaccurate B.S. IMO, there are no legitimate 40 times. None! As to who's the fastest, Trindon was the fastest football player ever at 10.02, until Demps edged him out with a 10.01. Therefore, he is the fastest football player ever (look up the best 100m times ever). End of discussion.
