McShay then said Lafell should've been a first rounder but LSU didn't get him the ball so he'll be a third rounder.

I don't think he is a 1st rounder. No first round receiver ever dropped as many passes thrown to him as Lafell.

He isn't talking about recruited talent, he is talking about on field talent, problems developing the talent that comes in. You disagree? Its a fair assessment.

That's not what he said - he said LSU's talent level is down. If that's true, then ESPN's own recruiting rankings are wrong.

I think they were wrong about our talent level. But they are right in saying we don't utilize the talent well - especially last year's class.

But it is soooo obvious they don't respect Les Miles at all. That should be very obvious. Half the fan base doesn't either.

He also said, after the other guy said Miles brought in coaches to help, he hopes Miles and the new coaches can turn things around. But nobody mentions this.

What did McShay say that was wrong
The ONLY thing McShay said that I disagree with is that "LSU's talent level has dropped off over the last 3-4 years". Its simply not true. LSU has signed top 5 recruiting classes each year. The talent level has remained constant. The coaching and developement of talent is the problem and I agree with that. He also said "LSU doesn't have elite players on either side of the ball" and thats not true b/c I'd call Lafell, Scott, PP, Jones, Nevis, and Kelvin etc. all elite players and thats NOT including the freshman like Shep, Randle etc.

Apparently, he didn't check to see that ESPN rated our last classes.

2009-2
2010-presently 7th before Williams, Fergerson, Copeland & Fobbs committed.

If he is saying that because LSU has been getting great recruiting classes and not winning MNC's every year then why not bash USC. They get 4 to 5 five star guys like every year.
