I heard a story about a couple of lsu staff weren't sold on monroe...he showed up to camp and was the best player on the field even when he snuck into drills as a wide receiver.
Obviously he is highly rated and the staff knows that but you have the cream of the crop on the dB board and he shoots to the top...show stopper

I know mom liked a&m but look at Alex Collins Arkansas was his best decision. Monroe fits well with the Tigers he will be apart of DBU

For sure...he is going to get a bump in the next update. 247 doesn't give out a whole lot of 5 stars until the end of the summer. He is 32 on there now so he is close already

That's about the whole story. Deontay Anderson and a couple of others were higher on the board than monroe...Monroe camps, dominates everyone on both sides of the ball and staff puts on the full court press. He was viewed as a "must get"
