As far as his classification, his upcoming jr season will be his final year of eligibility.

Iv read that Saban has contacted him. Don't know how true like you said. Regardless, I think we should offer.

That's not bad then. As long as it's not knees or muscle/ligament tears.

Exactly, broken bones don't cause much long-term damage so he should be fine. Also, breaking bones in your foot and hand don't make you injury prone since those are probably the easiest to break regardless of you being an athlete or not

Yeah I agree. What I meant was that he was hurt this past football and basketball seasons.

Which explains why I did not hear of him until now.

Kid as been an animal since a freshman. I saw a lot of Corey Webster in high school and that's who he reminds me of. They play the same positions in both sports and Webster absolutely dominated. I believe he went to lsu to play both but ended up concentrating on football.

Vandebilt also has a strong armed left handed QB, Sam Lirette, who is a heck of an athlete but does not get to showcase his talents in the run oriented offense behind McGuire. The QB is 6'4" and 190lbs and is a top honor student with a great head on his shoulders. Will probably not end up at an SEC school because the offense doesn't throw that much but could possibly walk on at a top D1 school.

He attended camp last year and has been invited again this year.

Bru,
He has seen this thread and said he has had no contact with Bama.

Elijah turn your head if you're still reading.

Thumb, toe and foot. Foot was a basketball injury.

Bayou preps

quote:

starting point guard Elijah McGuire, a junior, will be lost for the playoffs with a broken bone in his right foot.

quote:

"The doctor said it was an extremely rare injury," Vandebilt boys basketball coach Henry Washington said.

quote:

McGuire is also a star player for the Terriers football team. After spending time as a running back and quarterback, he missed most of the football season with a thumb injury and broken toe. He missed the first two weeks of the basketball season while recovering from those injuries.

Washington said the new injury is not related.

I guess I was reading something made up by a gump haha. Well like I said, regardless of the Bama rumor being false, we need to offer him. I like him a lot.
