I hope he gets better too. I dont see him in this class but if Hargrave is a serious thought then he could end up with us next year. Lets hope no ill will finds their way to anymore of our recruits or commits.

I heard from a players parent that Lacy doesn't take things too seriously. As in grades. Jusr wondering if you heard the same?

this unfortunately has always been his problem. Lacy is not a stupid kid, but he is a lazy kid. Another side note from my little bro, he skips workouts and comes in to bench as much as he wants. When I asked my little brother why didn't the coaches do anything about it he says, "He's Eddie Lacy...what could they do about it." The kid is all natural talent. It would be nice to see him get in a system with good discipline and make him work. I couldn't imagine what he would do then.

Friend of mine's kid had to retake 10th grade math over the summer and was in class with Lacey and Jim Bernhard's(Shaw CEO) kid. Let's just say he will never make the honor roll...

That's very troubling to hear.

I will keep him in my prayers and I ask those of you who are similarly inclined to do the same.

Update from the advocate, out for up to 3 weeks with a partial MCL tear. Hopefully he's back for the Catholic game. Then he can take a break the next week when they play EA because they won't need him.

edit: Sorry, I read it, then later posted the wrong info, strain instead of partial tear. I was also just trying to get the EA posters stirred up a little.

It is a partial tear of the MCL and can take from one to eight weeks to rehab.

i dont know though, i dont follow HS football all that much anymore if it doesnt include LSU recruits

Hopefully Dutchtown's coach does the right thing for this kid's future. Lacy has little to prove this season.

Clean
Had to do some research, my son had a MRI Monday and waiting for results. Doc wanted the MRI to see if he may have a small tear in his meniscus. Does have a strained MCL, day to day now.

I hope his coach does the right thing. He was my coach my 9th grad yr. and sorry but all he cares abt is winning, even if he has to let alot of kids play hurt, just enough to play. Grades were not a worry to him when he coach us he just wanted us to have just enough to play , not worried abt our future in the classroom. Like i said he would let us skip classes bc he thought we would think he was cool r what ever, but cutting his grass durring class was hurting r grades. And now he has eddie lacy , witch is prob. his best player he ever coached.no telling what he let him get away with Im just saying I no his coach and I would bet eddie's grades are not just his fault.Man he is a little out there, he head butted our Qb at halftime .out of anger not trying to pump us up, and yelling at him ,and it was not the QB who messed up.I just hope he has changed now b/c he could be the cause of eddie's lazy ways.and yes he shite on himself in a game and we all new, he did not go to the bathroom to change. He is a meathead, not very smart.Im not the type of person to call somebody out like this, but i just dont b/l his b/s And maybe people will understand that eddie might have been pushed to being lazy by his coach B.S.
