Early enrollment for recruits

Florida has 11 early entries, Alabama has 7, Auburn has 5 and LSU has 0.

Do u see this as a big advantage for these schools. Why do u think we dont have any this year?

Isn't Adams an early enrollee?
And if we get Smith he would be one too.

only cause they can participate during spring..other than that no...i mean shep did, and still couldnt get involved..

We will have 2. Washington and Adams/Jacques,are all possible. Maybe 3,with 2 back-counting.

Yes. It helps recruits get adjusted to the college routine and an opportunity to participate in spring practice to see the difference in the competition and what they need to do to compete at the college level.

It takes a semester for the kids to adjust from High School to College and also to make sure that they have the right classes to ensure their eligibility when the fall arives. They also gain a lot of insight into the program as a whole and also have a jumpstart to their playing time in the program, but, it does not garanty playing any earlier than if he erolled in the fall. All we need do is look at Russel Shepherd, enough said.

It's huge for a QB that you need to start as a true freshman, like Matt Barkely. Other than that, I think it's overrated. I can't think of a player that I saw a benefit from at LSU.
