With 5 linebackers committed and more LBs the way, Saban wants Moses and Allen away from LSU more than he wants them at Alabama.

BOL insider has even said as much about Moses.

I get the appeal to Bama, as much as that pains me to say, but it'll take a while to see the field with that LB depth. If he doesn't redshirt, he'll basically just be a special teams player in the first year. He plays in the first game at LSU under one of the best DCs in the country. I'm biased, but that seems too hard to pass up.

we're just lucky Miles didn't take that bait. Jeez. Luckily, it was painfully obvious what Saban was trying to do.

LB history

LSU does a damn good job of putting LBs in the league. Current former LSU players playing LB in the league:

Kwon Alexander
Lamin Barrow
Deion Jones
Barkevious Mingo (currently playing LB for NE)
Kevin Minter
Perry Riley Jr.
Kelvin Sheppard

For comparison here are the current bama players playing LB in the league:

Mark Barron
C.J. Mosley
Courtney Upshaw
Dont'a Hightower
Reggie Ragland

he's going to Alabama.

this is Shyheim Carter/Hootie Jones territory at best.

Well to be fair, we could've gotten Hootie if we pressed. I think he mainly committed to Alabama because his buddies were going there. He started cooling on Alabama around December I believe, but LSU had moved on to Jamal Adams. With Adams set to announce at the UA game in early January, LSU wasn't going to ruffle his feathers by pressing for Hootie.

Based on those stats it seems like the better "business decision" is LSU.

And as we can easily see, LSU made the right move, in its vigorous pursuit of Adams, and backing off Jones a bit.

But you are right, it does not at all seem that linebackers from Bama have done much better in the NFL, than LSU products.

Moses has great speed similar to Kwon. I feel like Scott Cochran will slow him up a step trying to pack on too much muscle.

Dylan definitely seems fast, but it's not like foster has looked slow out there for bama. I bet they'd try to use Dylan more like foster than as an olb. we would or should use him inside too

He can go sit at Bama, maybe play a year, prolly get a ring, then go to the NFL.
While lesser "ranked" LBs can come in and be heroes in his own hometown, play 2-3 years in the best stadium in America, maybe get a ring, and still go the NFL.

Or he can come home. Id love to have him, but am not too worried about the game he's playing

No it's you that is the bitch . You starting threads on the SEC rant and bashing LSU, the fan base, and Orgeron is proof of that! Go snuggle up to the other schools fans and yearn for their approval. Freaking pathetic! And you have nerve to call others bitches lol.

Now give me your address so that I can send you some coloring books and play-doh. You temperamental little sissy!
