Anyone who thinks LSU is a lock here is whistling past the graveyard. I'd be shocked if it's not FSU at this point.

Multiple FSU posters have come here after his visit and said they don't expect him in their class and you idiots still come here with this shite

Even FSUs best insiders (not the homers) feel he LSU still leads. It may mean nothing but it suggests that he isn't as into FSU as our fans think. I think our fans are in a state of shock still and refuse to believe any good news.

I know Jameis was offered by Stanford but was he accepted? Huge difference. Most kids don't even know if they're in until January and I think Stanford already had their QB in his class by then. Btw I'm not saying the kid is dumb. He does come off thst way however.

You missed my point, so let me make is crystal clear. Jameis didn't close Dupre!!! Chi making the visit to Oxford is proof of the aforementioned. I didn't know recruits could take 5 visits, thought it was 4 1/2?

It's pathetic.

All these dumbasses are experts now because a couple kids lied to our coaches and mods.

Kid goes to John Curtis and is the top player in Louisiana. He's all LSU. If he's not, LSU needs to fire Les.

It makes no sense that LSU should have no trouble holding on to the elite talent in the state when they have one of the best recruiters in the country?

Yeah, doesn't make sense at all.

Neither does that part. He wins a lot and recruits well. FIRE THAT a-hole!

Also, John Curtis kids are notorious for spurning LSU.

First of all, who ranks him as the top player in La?

Second, what does him going to Curtis have to do with anything?

Forgot about the running back you guys have committed.

Point still stands though.

Didn't know this. Any reason behind it?

Honestly what we should all be doing is laughing at all the Ole Miss fans who think they have a shot at Dupre

He may not sign with Ole Miss, but when I read that, I couldn't help but think back to last year and all the Georgia and Alabama fans laughing at the Ole Miss fans who thought they had a shot at Laremy Tunsil.

And the rest is history.

For what it's worth, Dupre has made several unofficial visits to Oxford over the past year and has been in touch with Laquon Treadwell on a regular basis for a few months now, so him signing with Ole Miss is not as totally far-fetched as it might sound.

I am certainly not predicting that we will sign him, but who really and truly knows at this point? Usually--not always, but usually--when an in-state prospect takes this long to make a decision, the home state school is not the one where he ends up...but I guess we will see what happens.

Plus, with the winter storm on the way tonight, he might get stranded in Oxford for several days......

I am sure he meant "top" as in a top not the top. Second, Curtis has a history of steering top players out of state. My guess is that some coach there has an ego that needs national recognition.

That being said, I think Dupre is just doing his due diligence and making sure he did not miss something before annoucing his decision. I respect that.
