Derby talks about how Richt plucked Stafford and Moreno out of Dallas and New Jersey, respectively.
didn't he?

I agree with Derby, we're so fricked!
All other coaches are so great at picking up talent from all over the place, and we have to settle for the talentless LA/FL/TX areas. We need to fire Miles, since he only gets out-of-state talent that nobody else wants. Richt is so awesome I wet myself over the thought of all the hardware he has as HC of the Bulldogs. He is a better talent evaluator, better recruiter, and all around coaching GOD. I mean Riley and Sheppard were CLEARLY not good enough to warrant a "commitable" offer from UGA, let's ignore the fact that the Vols were expecting a commitment from them. . .I mean Richt's resume contains more hardware, and more next-level stars than Phat Phil.
Somebody wake me when this nightmare is over.

South Carolina has recruited better than them the last few years

who said we were fricked? I obviously hope Riley and Shepperd are good from an avid fan's sake... I stated about 3 times in this one thread that I'm not saying they will definitely blow

per scout, UT was ahead of the Gamecocks every year for the past 5, except this past Signing Day. . .where the fighting Spurrier's finished 1 spot ahead of the Vols.

I said few years.... average the last few.. you'll be alarmed of how poorly Tenn. has recruited
Their best WR this year was a Louisiana castaway (Taylor)

I could go back before 05, but it only gets uglier for USC, and your point, if I do. . .

quote:At least you admit how asinine your little theory is. It's as if you think there's HS coaches in GA that are whispering "don't recruit my kid" to UGA, and Richt's staff values that over what they, the guys who's lives depend on evaluating talent, see from the kid. Surely if LSU had that super secret info, we'd be better off.

Rivals has UT better than USC as well, over the same time period, except 08.

Hey Books,
Did you read that McCarron article that Sonny put up?
Tells me all I need to know as far as what kind of recruiter Miles is. . .awesome.

No, McCarron is a waste of time, so I haven't paid much attention to him.

I agree we won't get him, but he says great things about Miles
