Mistretta coached him at Dunham and said he's better than La'el and Jeremy Hill. He's 5 star talent.
A friend of mine was the OC for Dunham at the time and raved about Davis, and he's a huge Alabama fan.
Davis is a superstar waiting to happen at the next levels.

We need Haskins to come and pass the ball to these guys. Lsu will have a nasty group of receivers. Don't look at JJ or Harris years, look at what Z Mett did

Nice
He's a freak athlete by all accounts

Would gladly trade him for Rahshaun Smith or Jean Delance. I don't care how freakish of an athlete he is - we need Front Seven and O-Linemen studs. Every year the ratings are skewed in our direction due to too many skill players and not enough "trench" players. And Alabama kicks our arse.

Coxie isn't just the most underrated player in our class, he might be the most underrated player in the nation. Kid is a flat out stud.

Is coxie playing in any of these games?
Posted on 1/1/16 at 1:45 pm to LsuTool
He played in the LHSCA / LFCA All Star game and was the MVP with 6 catches for 200yards and 2 TDs.
Might not have that "elite" top end speed, but the kid is a grown man out there and plays with an attitude, similar to Jarvis attitude here. And he's plenty fast enough.
Kids gonna be a player.

He's got to develop his hands which I have heard is the biggest knock on him I see him as a bigger and more athletic jojo
I've watched his tape and I don't think he wears gloves. With the gloves they have nowadays, that would be taken care of easily.
ETA:
I've been saying this guy has Julio Jones type freak athleticism for the longest. His sophomore tape blew me away. Then his performance at IMG playing against some of the best and nationally ranked talent around shows me just how special he is. He had only been there a few months before the season started.

This is what I want to hear most. I love aggressive and tough WRs like Landry. We don't have one playing in the games at LSU ATM. Guys like Fournette and Guice are dogs at RB and I like to see that in a beast WR.

I get the impression, and if anyone knows for sure feel free to correct me, that he is just now "getting there" physically. So along the way he developed great technique because he couldn't rely on pure athleticism.

Absolutely this. Very stupid and unnecessary post.
