Why should Miles have to make special rules for this kid??

If Miles told him a few weeks ago that he was not allowed to take visits, then Davis had no business taking an "official visit" to another school. The school isn't even the factor here. It's the principle.

I guess all of the commits should be allowed to take atleast one visit elsewhere now, just to keep things fair.

Mike Davis is a beast. That's too bad. I don't know that we will land a better prospect at WR!

Let's wait and see if Miles knew first. I have a feeling he was just going to have fun with friends. Why not? I would.

I don't get why Miles has to constrict these kids like that. He's going to start losing high schoolers by doing that. These kids get one opportunity to do this. Mike Davis has said ever since he committed that he is ALL LSU. They questioned him after his two teammates from Skyline committed to A&M, and he still said he was stil all LSU.

I know one of the guys who works for A&M's Rivals site (had a couple classes with him), and he told me that Davis enjoyed the visit, but he would be shocked if he changed his commitment.

One last thing, I noticed that Wallace is a top 50 guy for 2011, which way do you think he goes: A&M who already has two of his LB teammates, or LSU where Davis is likely to be?

Depends if he wants to make it to NFL/Post season play, or a janitor at some oil company at age 22.

Miles doesn't have a problem with them taking visits. He just doesn't want them committing to LSU then taking visits to other schools. See Mingo last year.

Not trying to be dick, but I can't see many people picking aTm over LSU unless playing time was their #1 reason to go somewhere.

He really doesn't constrict them. He just wants them to tell LSU before visiting another school.

Unlike Luther Davis who said he was going to a funeral then went to Bama.

Miles has rule no visits after verbal, but I have noticed that he lets 5 star players take visits.

He used to have this rule. He has softened over the past few years. Now it is more of a get permission first policy.

I am Mike Davis. I did in fact visit A&M this weekend and had a great time. The staff and players were awesome. Its a beautiful campus and the facilities are outstanding. However, I am still very committed to Coach Les Miles and LSU. I am a Tiger!
