Does Kendall McCallum come back?

Now that the LB depth has lost some early departures, does he come back?
I haven’t heard anything on him since he entered the portal, but he’s a bruiser.

I don't even remember this? Not sure how I missed that if true. He was a BIG LB that could add to the physicality of the defense... However, I am not sure he fits the mold of what we need... The game is changing so much, we need backers who can run with RB/WR/TE's... See Queen, Stephens, and Phillips to an extent.

Yes but there's been several indications that Orgeron wants to shift back to a 4-3 next year. He'd do well at MLB in a 4-3. I haven't heard anything regarding him since he hit the portal either. No idea if he practiced with the team or was just out of football entirely for this season.

Ironically I have been looking to see if there was any updated information on him as well. I liked his highlights and thought he would add a lot. Last thing I saw was he was in the transfer portal which caught me off guard. I'm hoping someone in here might be able to say if he is for sure gone or what. I'm hoping thats not the case.

I haven’t heard anything, but I did see him on kickoffs this year. If he’s quick enough he’d be a mean MLB against traditional SEC RBs.
Especially when our offense takes a step back this year and teams aren’t having to immediately resort to throwing the ball to keep up.

What about the white boy thumper from West Monroe we have on the team? Any shot at getting minutes on ST/D?

If you saw him on special teams and he hasn't announced a new landing spot yet, it's probably safe to assume that he's going to be with the team going forward. Too much attrition for him to leave.
Personally I never noticed him on the field, so I was concerned he had left the team entirely. Good to hear that he kept suiting up.

He enrolled in 2016, so maybe he's still around as a Redshirt Senior but who knows.
