I have no idea who this kid is??? Is he worth a damn?

I stated this yesterday and as expected he decommitted. I'm pretty sure the staff told him they didn't have a spot for him. There's better prospects on the horizon. Get'em O.

The staff couldn't hang on to a commitment for 26 years?

He probably realizes Brennan and narcisse are the real deal

He's the nephew of former Heisman winner Ty Detmer. I thought he was his brother Coy's son, or maybe a sister's son. I know they've been schooling him on the game since he was a little kid.

His development was totally derailed by the foot injury he suffered his sophomore year. He had serious potential, but the injury sapped him of any mobility he had. He's more slow of foot than Mett was. Sucks, but it's best for both parties now that they've parted ways.

Recruited by Cam Cameron and Brad Dale...do not want

Surprised it took this long ...

I understand the sentiment, but Montana didn't exactly set the college football world on fire at Notre Dame.
He came into his own at SF under Walsh.
If that's Dink's trajectory?
God Bless him and no big loss.

^^^ This.. Watch the kids film and you'll understand that he's not up to the caliber we need to be recruiting at. He plays against weak competition and doesn't look that good IMO. Shea said in a tweet that UTSA is the main competitor for him now. If that's the case then that says it all

I actually thought he had already decommitted.

Not going to knock the kid. Good for him for staying loyal this long. Good luck to him.
