Not according to many that think this has been a bait and switch all along.

I thought the same thing at first, but the comment he made changed my mind and thought it was something else that changed his mind.

I think so. Started a similar thread when I heard they were announcing 20 minutes apart.

People think Texas was in the works for weeks but if you remember colt mccoy's recruiting, I believe Texas was the backup plan...

Local sportscaster reports that Davis said what changed for LSU was that on his last visit the players did not seem happy and seemed to not want to be at LSU.

my guess is he thinks he fits better in Texas's defense rushing the passer, and he is probably right.

I agree with this, but Kwon said that he has known for a few weeks during his announcement. I think it had something to do with it. He wants to play LB and when he found out about Kwon, he probably figured that they would put him at DE. The statement about players being unhappy down there is probably referring to the Sheppard and Boone situation which I'm sure Texas pumped into his head!

People in the Davis camp contacted the guys that run orangebloods and told them to come to the high school and cover the announcment. U think they called them this morning after Kwon announced and they hopped in a fighter jet with all thier equipment and showed up in shreveport with a hour notice and covered the announcment?

Well, they just lost the BCSNCG. And then why didn't you pick Texas the next day?? bogus response, no doubt told to say this by Texas to damage LSU. I guess players are happier when they go 6-5???

He wants to play LB, not DE, so that anwser to the original PO is YES

Nobody from LSU was there? People still go after guys that seems like locks all the time. Who knows really aside from those involved.

I doubt Torshiro Davis even knows who Kwon Alexander is.
