He already said last year that LSU isn't getting into bidding wars over HS kids. Come to LSU because you want to be at LSU. The money will follow.

It’s unfortunate, but this always seems to work out at the end of the day. If a kid truly wants to come to LSU, things like NIL will align and coaches will see that it happens. We don’t need to get into a bidding war with NIL with these kids that want to leave Louisiana. If they want to be here, be here. If not, we can focus on other recruits that do and the transfer portal has worked out well so far.
