UPDATE: He's going to pick LSU unless something weird happens. Bama has more or less moved on from him. ND is trying to catch up to LSU, but that is nearly impossible.

Well sure, but the landscape has changed dramatically with the portal. Highly ranked kids that don’t play immediately are a threat to leave, especially if they aren’t local kids. I just wouldn’t get too high or low about any kid we sign or that anyone else signs. Deboer is recruiting well, but has his work cut out for him over the next couple of seasons. That’s what my original comment was referring to.

Not my opinion. Intel from the same guys that broke the Bowen stuff a couple years ago. He is pretty tight w staff etc. and does homework with the kids side too.
