Its been widely discussed on this Board that his Mom has cancer and has requested that he play near their home. He has been a solid comment for LSU for months, but with that kind of family situation he can not be blamed if he decides to stay near his home(about 20 mins. to OU).
He has stated many times that he wants to be a TIGER, but Mom may win this battle and they have been very upfront with their situation.
I also sincerely hope he is a Tiger!!

While agree with you that he has to do what's best for his family , he shouldn't string LSU along if he is going to stay home . Family comes first , I think any normal person would agree and not hold it against him . All I am saying is , if he is going to stay home , let LSU know ASAP , and maybe he has . Either way , I hope he is a tiger

I don't think he is. I think he legitimately wants to be a Tiger, and I think his family may be digging their heels in the ground against it. He may stay home to make mom happy, but he may be spending this time trying to convince them to let him go.

Really great guy. Wouldn't be mad if he ended up there. Totally understand it. Wish him and his family well regardless what he does.
