nah. There's really not a whole lot going on on this side of the state. Just 3 commits as of right now. According to one guy that is usually right, there are about 9-10, but no released names other than the ones on rivals.
I asked about the rumblings about JLee transferring to McNeese or SFA and he said that he has heard a little bit about it. This guy has pretty deep roots in the Texas coaches circles too. Lee's TE in HS plays at McNeese and will be losing their 3 year starting QB after the '09 season. I wouldn't say it's impossible, but highly unlikely. Only for the simple reason that apparently there really is or has been talk about it.

McCarthy flying out to see him yesterday tells me it is not completely "over." Especially, if what DD is reporting is true that Debose called him.
I still don't think we land him, but we wouldn't be making an effort to still recruit him if we had zero chance.
