For those concerned about star ratings, ESPN has him 4*. I'm not sure that is really a plus since ESPN and Scouts.com I believe put all the names in a hat and basically just draw them out for their stars ratings. 
I said earlier using Rivals system, I would put the guy a minimum 4* and a 5.8 (Rivals has him maximum 3* and 5.7)

there is always a 2-3* recruit who ends up being a big time player at LSU. This year maybe two with neal & patterson?? Monster class so far

Think Gilmore is waiting to get his mom down to LSU before making a decision either way. Absent his mom hating it, I think he'll commit, too.

His offer list was pretty good but surprised it wasn't a little beefier. Ohio State of course, LSU...probably the most impressive thing about his offer list was the best football schools in the Carolinas (sorry Duke) which are Clemson, South Carolina, UNC, N C State, and East Carolina all supposedly offered. But in general for whatever reason, he seemed like a regional recruit (SE US) in general.

Add in Beckwith likely getting shifted down to DE once he gets on campus.
So, you've got:
Williams - DE
Neal - DE
Patterson - DE
Beckwith - DE
Lawson - DT
Gilmore - DT
Herron - DE
That's just nasty right there.
