granted, he was a 4* prospect coming from high school.

still think 6'2 is a little tall for RB, and tall for what the Ags like to do on offense.

the dude is probably better utilized as a LB, or WR.

So the other 6'2 running back you used as an example has yet to get any meaningful carries and you don't expect him to any time soon?

I wasn't making the point that a 6'2 back will do well, just that Sherman will keep a 6'2 back at RB

I trust what Sherman is doing. We were absolute dog shite under Fran and Sherman had minimal talent to work with when he got to College Station. He had some offensive skill position players but no team speed on D, no depth and nothing on the lines. He's not a sexy coach but he seems to be deliberate and methodical and getting the job done.

Hopefully this year we will do well against Ok St (new OC, lost Holgerson), Arky (new QB, 3 new OL), and Texas (just a bad team TBH) and then there is at 0U. That's a tough one. But if we can get 10-11 wins this year we can get the momentum going and get some more good players recruited

Either way it doesn't help your argument. History proves that backs taller than 6' usually get moved or become situational backs for goaline plays, and even that's rare for a back that size.

What argument? I stated that Sherman wants Davante at RB. People think he's too tall and I showed that Sherman has a RB that's probably a shade taller than Davante. That's it.

And history has lots of backs taller than 6'. It's not the norm but it's really not that uncommon

The argument of him being a RB at the next level.

You mean a shade shorter? DaVante is 6'3

Davante isn't really 6'3. He's 6'1 and some change. No way he's actually 6'2 seeing him in interviews.

FWIW, Adrian Peterson isn't really 6'2. He's only 6'1 also

This is a popular thought, that many of us share, he was less than impressive in youtube interviews as well as recently with Bill King, IMO. Not sure about wishing ill on Fobbs, pretty sorry if true.

You're judging his height on interviews where they usually only show the top half of the body with a zoomed out lens?

You would be correct with the Fobbs info. He put it on their Rivals page when he was there and he did on Facebook as well. He took it down after getting backlash from plenty of people.

He did the same thing to a LB that same year who switched to OU on signing day

Thats one of many reasons he's trying to hold on at 24/7 and may not be there much longer either

how many people are listed as their correct height in HS? I was listed at 6'3 and I'm not quite 6'2. Weights are even worse

Corey Nelson. Very good player. I'm sad he got away.

But he is 0-1 against A&M in his college career so far

solid list of backs to be in company with.

But when you look at that list in comparision to all the backs total. thats small fractions of success rate.
