I really wish he would have qualified in that recruiting cycle. Kid ended up at Memphis and had a pretty decent freshman year. He is on a team with a deep WR core. He’s going to be a star there in the next few years.

They were able to take him as a partial qualifier and academically redshirt him in 2016 IIRC.
He definitely looked solid this season.

I like Memphis' HC Norvell, the guy is a young up and coming midmajor HC that will be hot soon if he isn't already. I watched him last season his first season there and he followed it up with another strong season. This guy would be a great fit at an LSU.

How’s McMath and Netherly coming along?

I haven’t heard that much to be honest.
I really like McMaths frame, but WR assessment is tricky. I thought Dee Anderson and Drake Davis would both break out this year but they didn’t get many opportunities. Then again Chark and Gage were proven commodity’s.
This team has unbelievable size at WR but can they get seperation or learn a route tree?

All that is totally on Mickey Joseph, but I just think the guy is lacking in that area as a WR coach. Hopefully, he can coach them up because they have some talented bigs that can catch the ball as they have proven in the past. Now you add McMath, Giles, and Netherly to Anderson, Davis, and Sullivan with an incoming class of Jaray Jenkins, Kenan Jones, and hopefully Terrace Marshall and whomever else (Lawrence Keys III, JaMarr Chase, Devonta Jason) and you have a wealth of talent at the WR position.
