I could see him being turned if he lived ANYWHERE in Louisiana other than the Shreveport area in NW LA. I think that is the least pro-LSU part of the state. I think you LSU fans are crazy if you have seen film of Dak and dont think he is a better fit for Mullen's Offense at MSU than he is for Miles offense at LSU.
LSU isnt going to offer him anyway, and HAVENT talked to him.

Only reason people think that of Shreveport is because of Evangel .... It's still heavy pro LSU.
And FWIW he is similar to JJ skill set, so I guess JJ is also a better fit for Mullen?
I saw him at the camp with Rivers and Oliver

I guess if I were you I would be hoping LSU lands Brisset then

I'm not why people keep bringing JJ up...besides their height they're really not that similiar. Dak is a true dual threat QB that can run the spread option where JJ is a pro style QB who can scramble a bit.
Also, I keep seeing you referencing that you were at the LSU elite camp when I distrinctly remember you telling everyone that LSU had wanted you to report at the start of fall camp as if you were still in Memphis during the summer.

Elite camp was 2 weeks BEFORE , I just headed back to memphis after it was over. Only a few trainers are used during the summer term, and I was originally scheduled to be one. Unfortunately I tore my upper abdominal and I had to have surgery to repair 4 tears the first week of june.
Does that explain it?

No. I have friends who coach all over shreveport/bossier. If he gets a offer from LSU its just a matter of time before he flips, like I said in another thread, hes a real good kid, but hes still a Louisiana boy.
Now with that said. I dont think we will get a offer. I think Brissett or Cardale Jones will jump on board before that.
So be happy with what you have, as far as I am concerned you got a steal with Prescott.

And If I recall right, you said he WASNT a SEC QB from what you saw. Of course this was when you were assuming that you would get ELY.

Correct, but right now we are in a position to where we must make a choice that we normally wouldn't make.... Oh and the entire nation was thinking we get Ely though at that time , and it was before the first rumors of him were announced. So

Dak is the best QB in Louisiana this year.

If Dak hasn't spent a week in Starkville yet we DEF still have a chance.

I think we have a better chance if he HAS spent a week in Starkville

Well played! And who didn't see that coming?

Yeah, he hates Starkville so much that he jumped on our offer instantly.

MSU is his most high profile offer thus far...

He still has his senior year ahead of him, if he wasn't comfortable at State and w/ Mullen he would not have committed.

You must mean maroon and white. Purple really isn't his color.
