The only degrees that matter are degrees that get you a job (engineering, doctorates, etc). If you can find any ranking where LSU is higher, I would LOVE to see it. This includes even the minor break offs of engineering like civil, mechanical, not just the whole college.

You could stop your recruits from calling the coach at the school they really want to go to then. Maybe have a lock in the night before signing day.

Coach sherman is doing something completely different than what fran did. He is using the players that fran recruited to run an offense that is completely different. I believe that we will get some success in the next 2 years (8-4,9-3) but nothing huge. The question after that is will he be able to take us to another level, and that is the million dollar question.

Yeah both books were burned... and one wasnt even colored in yet.

There are plenty of degrees that get you a job that have nothing to do with engineering, yet in each post regarding academics you bring up engineering.
LSU has one of the best internal auditing programs in the world. Pretty sure that would get you a decent job.

I'm pretty sure they aren't allowed to talk to recruits then, so good point there.
I just graduated from A&M in December, and while I must say the campus is nicer (even though with all the construction around it makes it look like trash), the people there are obnoxious. The Core is the most annoying thing in the world. It's funny how they think they are tough asses just because they wear their costumes. The Core Whores are just as impressive. Everyone there thinks that A&M is the greatest thing on earth. I stopped going up to Northgate my senior year cuz I was tied of my girl friends basically get molested, and then my friends have to step in and knock the dude out. It was like an every night occurrence. You can have a lot more fun throwing your own shite than going up there. There are decent people there, but they are hard to find

Sherman's best chance is this coming year to do damage. A lot of the Big 12 is losing key players, while A&M retains a whole lot. Jerrod Johnson is only getting better, Cyrus Gray and Christine Michael is a great tandem, the emergence of a lot of freshmen WRs helps out Jeff Fuller and Ryan Tannehill, we lost a lot on the O-Line but that may be for the better. The D got a boost with Von Miller coming back, but with a new D-Coordinator comes a new system so it will be seen if he can maximize Von like they had. Only losing 2 starters on D doesn't hurt and there are good viable options behind them

We used to require all students to be in ROTC as well, but we dont have an all male "yell leaders" team either.
