One of the toughest things to do in life is telling someone "no". It's much easier to string someone along then bail. It's a shame folks don't teach their kids the honesty of just saying no.

I'm impressed with most of his work. Maybe just needs to rephrase his information a little from now on. "A good chance he will", instead of "he will commit". That would be a little more appropriate and have less of a reaction. Even the recruit himself couldn't be that sure..
