It is disappointing, since i live out of state and cannot get there on a whim. However, you people that act like LSU is the only program in the nation that has empty seats sometimes are ridiculous.

The only people who give a shite about this is LSU fans. Recruits understand the situation and know it would never be like this in a game that mattered. AU was done by halftime. It was a fricking monsoon the entire 1st half and LSU had their foot on their throat. Show many any other program that could keep a stadium full under the same circumstances. If we were playing Bama then everybody would sacrifice and stay. Shut the hell up about a shitty day against a shitty team.

Luckily, recruits are more educated than the average rantard on here.

Yes, recruits won't come to LSU now that they see the fans leave with it raining when LSU is up big. LSU

Where the frick have you been. LSU fans leave early on a clear night. It had nothing to do with the rain. If we are playing Kent St or North Texas the excuse is that we are playing cupcakes. This was an SEC opener. Pull your head out of your arse!

The fans leaving is ridiculous and wouldn't have happened in the old days. These fans leave when the weather is perfect....pathetic. They aren't real fans.

oh it happened in the old days....

at least when they beat rice 77-0 and 47-3 here. And a tulane game in 85....

the part of the stadium that emptied first was the student section.

I wish we could start a re-fill the stadium program where those leaving could let LSU fans take their ticket stubs and fill the stadium back up for the 2nd half. Either use ticket stubs given out to new seat fillers or just let the kids in well into the 3rd q'ter to refill the stadium. It could be done, let high school players in free for the last 1/3rd of the game for recruiting and fan noise too.

there were people trying to GIVE tickets away before the game and couldn't find takers....

The worst argument possibly ever to exist is "real fans" making judgments on who is and isn't a real fan.

By the way, where in the stadium were you sitting last night?

Also pretty sure the recruits are more concerned with how many LSU players collected a game check in the NFL today. This and the world class facilities (paid for by these awful fans that don't sit in the rain) are what makes LSU a top tier program. Some yahoos yelling and cussing around children don't make the decision for the recruit. Nfl and cash (one in the same I guess) are the decision makers.
